Updates on cuts to the Department of Education:

Yesterday, 21 democratic Attorneys General filed a lawsuit against the cuts, arguing that they cause "immense damage" to the schools in their states. There'll certainly be more about this soon.

The Washington Post reports on reactions to the cuts from even conservative groups and writes of outages already in the FAFSA (the financial aid application) website that went on for hours, but those who know the system were locked out of their computers after their firing. Their graphics also show the breathtaking scope of the cuts:
