From the New York Times, the budget bill just passed by congress guts much of the loan relief that the previous administration had put in place as most borrowers will now face much higher payments.

It would be telling to list here the things that were funded instead of sustaining manageable terms for predatory student loans, but it's now a holiday weekend and I'm going to log off after this painful week.
